Pet Photography Studio Sessions
These sessions are 30-45 minutes in length and take place at the studio in the back of my grooming shop, A Bark Above, located in Orleans, Indiana. From the session you can expect up to 10 professionally edited, high-resolution images available for download from an online gallery. In addition to digital images and time spent shooting and editing, one complimentary matted 8x10 print, of your choice, is included. Prior to your session a contract and questionnaire will be emailed to you regarding your preferred photo style and any additional information needed about your pet (temperament, favorite toys & treats, etc). The goal is for these photos to perfectly reflect your pet and their unique personality, so you can cherish these memories for years to come!
From there, you have the choice of ordering numerous sizes of matted prints, protected with a clear sleeve, ready to be placed into a beautiful frame of your choosing, to be displayed in your home, or wherever you’d love to see that furry face! All prints are sent to a professional photo lab, that delivers quality, lasting products. Professional labs use the best paper, ink and process available. These are prints designed to archival specifications. What better way to display your beloved pup?
The link to the online gallery will be sent via email within one week of the session date. If you choose to order prints, you can expect their arrival at A Bark Above for pick up within 2-3 weeks of the order date.
The session fee is $100 with a 50% non-refundable retainer due at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due the day of the session.

FAQ:
The session fee covers 1 pet. If you have additional pets, there is a $50 fee per pet for a limit of up to 3 total. You can expect up to 10 additional images per additional pet.

You CAN book a session after your pet’s groom at A Bark Above so they are fresh and clean for their shoot. Just be sure to book it in advance as the day has to be properly scheduled to allow for the additional session time. The ultimate spa day!
If you are worried about your pet not cooperating, fear not, you would be surprised at the tricks up my sleeve. Usually all it takes is a little time for them to get used to the space and some funny sounds, oh…and maybe some treats (if allowed). There are some scenarios where the pet does better with the owner in the room and other times the opposite. It just depends and we’ll figure it out! If you have a pet that you know doesn’t do well outside of home or has never gotten out and about, or is knowingly aggressive, I wouldn’t suggest putting them out of their comfort zone.
